Hvar Island
Hvar Island holiday Hvar Island is situated in the Adriatic Sea and belongs to Croatia. The island spreads out on 80 km from west to east and it is truly paradise for its tourists. People all over the world visit all four major parts of the Hvar Island as its surprises are many and diverse.
Zagreb
Zagreb, Croatia’s capital and largest city, lies on the bank(s) of the Sava River, at the foot of the Medvednica Range As the country’s cultural centre, Zagreb is well known for its museums, theatres, concerts and other cultural programmes. Zagreb is also called the city of museums, as there are more museums per square foot in this place than any other place in the world. The old part of Zagreb consists of three historical sections, all of which have retained their medieval atmosphere; they contain the majority of its monuments, most of which visited on foot.
Krk Island
Krk island is located in Kvarner bay, near Rijeka. It is one of the biggest islands in this area, being at a size of approximately four hundred and nine square kilometers, covering 405.78 square km, and is also one of the most populous islands. The island is connected to the mainland via 1,430 m long bridge, which is one of the longest concrete bridges in the world. You can reach Krk island by air by air as the northern town of Omišalj hosts the Rijeka International Airport.
Rab Island
Due to its beautiful sandy beaches, Rab island is a popular vacation destination in Croatia. It is located on northern part of the Croatian coast. The island is 22 km long and has an area of 93.6 km2. Rab features an extremely unique landscape. On the northeastern side of the island, the landscape is mostly bare. However, on the southwestern side of the island, the landscape is covered with one of the last oak forests of the Mediterranean region.
Dubrovnik
Situated in the southern corner of the country and known originally as Ragusa, picturesque Dubrovnik is one of (if not) the most beautiful cities in Croatia. Also known as “The Pearl of the Adriatic”, Dubrovnik with its matchless setting, comfortable climate, historic and cultural heritage, beautiful environment and beaches, is deservedly popular with the tourists.
